One of my banking groups: Discontinuing PC Online Payments!

If you can use an app on a phone, you can probably also use one on a tablet. I do my payments online with the app on my iPad, not with my phone.
The iPad is much larger and easier for me to use, and it can have all the same apps as my phone can have.

If you have a computer/laptop that does not use apps, then you can get a tablet that you use for things that need an app. Once you have the tablet, it can connect up to your WiFi, so it won’t cost you anything extra to have a tablet, and you can use the apps for purchaes or anywhere that needs an app that you do not want to use your phone.
That would be perfect! I have had laptops but never a tablet as I use my PC for everything. If they are headed that way, it may be smart
to invest in one just for that alone. Thank You @Happyflowerlady in fact I have some gift cards I have not used yet! 🙏Thank you Lord
for making me have patience! Also for the brilliant members in SF! Amen

Look for a tablet that is made by the same company as your phone, so they will work together. I actually have several tablets because i use them for different things.

I have my large 13” iPad that has an external keyboard case so that it can type just like a laptop does, and this is what i use for almost everything that I do online. (See photo )

I also have a small tablet that I use just for reading with my Kindle app. I like it much better than reading a regular book now, because I can adjust brightness and size of the print so that I can read it easily. Also, no more heavy, awkward books, just a nice little light weight one for reading.

Amazon always has refurbished tablets that come with a warranty, and I have found that they work as good as a new one, and you can buy a nicer one and save money, since you mentioned using gift cards.

Hubby agrees to a tablet so that's really good. He won't even put his Health care chart on his PC, when he doesn't want to do something
his heels dig in and no budging him. He's still a send me paper stuff guy in many things. I had these gift cards from August to more in
December so better to use them for this before I forget where I put them  Thanks so much, yeah I probably need the keyboard.

Went to make a payment of an account I nearly have paid off.
Could not find the button to "Make a Payment" So I called them.
They are shutting down the browser site next month and going either
by phone app or Call-in which charges $9.95 to a 3rd party company
for a One Time Convenience Pay.

I can not express how ticked I am. I do NOT want my financial business on
my phone and I don't trust the mail to get my bill and payment sent on time.
I surely hope others are not going to follow suit.
Just thought you all may want a heads up in case this happens to you.
I didn't even get a letter or an email of warning this was happening next month.
Imagine if I had went to make a payment next month and found a "Site can't be found"
page!
I wouldn't like that either!
