yes Warrigal, he's improving by the day , he posted a very short thank you to everyone yesterday . he's struggling to see without a magnifying glass......Post number 37

Just an update on our friend @jet .

he's recovering from his stroke, albeit much more slowly than he would like. he's been put on a raft of pills and meds.. which isn't pleasing him at all, and some have side effects such as dizziness, which for jet who has always a been big strong independant guy is not fun to say the least.

His eyesight is pretty bad currently, and he can't really see very well.. and annoyingly his new gasses, are of no use to him now as his eyes are still adjusting.. . His foot has swollen like a football making it difficult for him to get around.. but he is improving, and he's looking on the positive side as much as he can.

he wants me to tell you all he's still able to look at the forum occasionally.. and wants to say Hello... and thanks everyone for their best wishes.. and he hopes to be back to his old self before too much longer...

ETA..just realised I should have enlarged the font on the post so Jet can read it...

Thanks for the update Holly. Most of us seniors can relate to health struggles and I wish Jet all the best with his recovery.

I’m sure we are all wishing him the best for his recovery. Some strokes are worse, much worse than others. I hope he gets the proper meds and his glasses corrected. That would surely help him.

unfortunatey it's not the glasses, it's his eyesight which has been affected. he's due to have some tests at the hospital to see how much internal damage has been done to them...

Bless you ted, but please don't get the wrong idea.. jet and I are not in any way involved... he's just a long time dear friend of mine, long before we even joined this forum.... 12 or more years ago...
