ONE thing you're grateful for...

I'm grateful for the generous forgiveness family, friends, acquaintances, SFers, and total strangers have shown me for my many trespasses in this lifetime, and I work hard to do the same for others. Including folks on this forum.

Sometimes I can be a bit of a bull in a china shop (so I understand when someone else missteps) and am so thankful when folks who walk with greater caution show me unearned kindnesses.

This morning I'm grateful for being married to someone I laugh with every day, and can count on one hand (and still have fingers left over) the number of serious disagreements we've had.

My marriage has been the easiest aspect of my life. Before I started dating him I went through relationships at an astonishingly fast clip, so no one is more surprised than me at our 40 plus years of a very good marriage.

This AM I woke from minimal sleep and got ready for church. Despite two cups of strong tea, still didn't feel up to par-- dizzy at times, with a headache/ pressure on my head that felt like chain mail. I nearly left Mass 1/2 way through. But I took a minute to say a prayer and ask God to help me feel better so I could stay. Grateful that He said yes... Headache lifted, able to finish service with a joyful heart! =D
