The charcoal barbecue smell never fails to heighten my happiness level, as it reminds me so much of my childhood, and it lends such a sense of the summer season. A pleasant reminder as to family gatherings, parties, and casual meal sit-downs.

A new born baby....soft blankets, My husband, after he shaves....Bacon and eggs frying in the pan for my husband in the morning...
Roses, My Mom's name.....Clothes out of the dryer....Shampooing my hair....new cut grass....my swimming pool in the summer....
Making gravy, that would be red gravy for macaroni...or spaghetti...Bed sheets that come out of the dryer...(So I'm weird...)

Here's a yukky one I just remembered as a 4-year-old:
I had a woman piano teacher who smoked. She tried to cover the tar smell with perfume (like a lot of women smokers who think they don't stink & smell like an old ashtray). She smelled like tar, mixed with perfume - worse than the tar would smell alone.
And--worst of all--she had to sit right next to me! She kept asking my mom: "What's wrong with him; he can't sit still; he's always fidgeting."
I could only hold my breath for so long........

Reminds me of an elementary school teacher that used to wear so much perfume, and it was the most horrid perfume you could imagine! I'm convinced she bathed in it!

The smell of a fresh-cut Xmas tree.
always had a fresh cut tree up until we moved into the camper 3 years ago
besides freshly washed sheets being hung on the line ..
And last night was the 1st time our sheets had been hung out as in long.... Love having a washer again...

We cook atleast twice a week on charcoal... either grill or Dutch Ovens
