The charcoal barbecue smell never fails to heighten my happiness level, as it reminds me so much of my childhood, and it lends such a sense of the summer season. A pleasant reminder as to family gatherings, parties, and casual meal sit-downs.Fresh cut grass

ROFLMAO! Love your stories, Win!Here's a yukky one I just remembered as a 4-year-old:
I had a woman piano teacher who smoked. She tried to cover the tar smell with perfume (like a lot of women smokers who think they don't stink & smell like an old ashtray). She smelled like tar, mixed with perfume - worse than the tar would smell alone.
And--worst of all--she had to sit right next to me! She kept asking my mom: "What's wrong with him; he can't sit still; he's always fidgeting."
I could only hold my breath for so long........
The smell of a fresh-cut Xmas tree.
always had a fresh cut tree up until we moved into the camper 3 years ago
besides freshly washed sheets being hung on the line ..
And last night was the 1st time our sheets had been hung out as in long.... Love having a washer again...
