Oops! We have a case in town

Wow! Hoping its a mild case and the person has a speeding recovery.

My hometown in podunk MS had its first case the first week in March when we were still being told there was not much danger of community spread. A guy I grew up with contracted it on a ski trip in Colorado. He had a sore throat and cough for three days and ran a temp of 101.1 one of those days. Thankfully, he started experiencing symptoms right after arriving home and stayed in.

Why is there a town of Stillwater and a village of Stillwater? What's the diff?

Because they are two separate governments. Town are larger and have more residents that villages. Villages are PART of the Town, though. At one time they was a discussion about merging the town and village governments and services, but that didn't get approved.

Our whole county.... since the beginning
253 cases ... 7 deaths....

Funny thing.... in 2009 we had that many dying in ONE retirement center in ONE week...
