Ordered a product online for the first time in ages

Is that a HDMI connection to micro? Why is there two connections? Have you tried it out? What do you use it for?

You have no idea how many times I looked at this and thought, "no way"! 3 connectors on one cord?

Then I finally noticed the two wires exiting the HDMI end! ROFLMAO!

So what I read is that you can only hook up to an IPad or iPhone. The cable I have is for an android cell phone although there is an extra female connection on the adapter and I don't know what it's for.

Problem is Camper, I’m not at all familiar with the Android phone. Let me do a little research and see if I can find if this will work on your phone.

It doesn't work on my phone. I'll buy the cable you have and use my Ipad.

My phone is a J3 Samsung. My contract is up soon and the new phone I get will have the capability.

All this is a learning experience.

I looked at the specs on my phone. TV output not supported. Now I know where to look before I waste my time.

Thanks but my cell phone does not have video output. I'll try my iPad but I need a cable.

Finally found out that the charger cable that fits the cell phone is Type C.

So what you need is a Type C to HDMI. That only took me a couple of weeks to find out.

How much did the new cable finally cost in the $Can? Was the price difference worthwhile for all the hassles you‘ve gone through. At least ordering through Best Buy, it can’t be returned if it’s the wrong thing. I’ve gone through the price comparison myself and sometimes decided to let them do it to save myself the aggravation. If the cost is significant, I’ll do it myself.

I was able to get the cable from Wish for $12.00 Canadian. It doesn't work with my cell phone because my cell phone doesn't have video output capability. But now I just got a new tablet and I'll give that a try.
I hate shopping at Best Buy. The staff doesn't seem to know what their products are capable of.,
Everything now is way too complicated for the average bear. And the videos trying to explain things? Why oh why do they have to talk so fast that you can't understand them?
