Our newest greatgranddaughter arrived this morning!

[Mrs. Robinson]

She`s had a bit of a rough start due to being 6 weeks early and mom being Type 1 diabetic but her blood sugars are coming back up now and they have been able to take her off the oxygen. Poor mom doesn`t get to see her until tomorrow morning as she had a long labor,then an emergency csection and had to be put under. Also had preeclampsia. Can`t imagine how she`s handling that. Grandson finally got to hold her a few minutes ago. Welcome to the world Maia Angel! 7 pounds 11 oz.

My reaction is quite strange today. I feel very uplifted by your news, so much so that I am tearing up with the joy of it. I can hardly imagine the joy and relief that everyone concerned with this new arrival is feeling.
