Our version of retirement: Living a childhood dream

You know I love your birdhouses. Now, some people are not fond of squirrels but I love them. I lost two of my most prized squirrel trees these last few years due to weather. They had built in squirrel homes made by woodpeckers. What I really need is some squirrel condos. Maybe that might be something to build?

Closest I got was my chipnic tables

Sold a few

But the best of today was getting a better (faux stained glass) print for my frames

My lady said it needs a chain

so be it

Gary,, that picture has a mosaic look to it.

Can it be printed off?
Maybe placed in a larger frame?
OK, I'm assuming you're referring to the faux stained glass
It's a vinyl sheet with a backing that peels off and sticks to a glass pane with the help of a bit of water

I buy it by the roll
They're 17" x 78"
So, yeah, they can be placed in a larger frame

I'm enclosing the deck this summer and planning on trimming the windows with it

It'll be an adventure......

I was referring to the bird feeder picture.

The twigs ,sky, in the background of the bird feeder,,, on my computer it looked like mosaic

Or else my eyes were tried & playing tricks on me?.
No tricks
Intentional
I use a free program called Photomania
There are several options to select
On that site I exclusively use 'paint brush'
IF you knew the customers better ,, could do personalized ones.
Referring to last picture #3437.
Yes, and on occasion, I did so

Right now all my stuff is going to high end junk shops, so no direct contact with customers, as a rule.
The shops do put me and the customers together from time to time.
It can get awkward if they try to cut out the shop's take, but the shops I deal with are very amicable about that kinda stuff.
They just want to satisfy the customer. It's good business.....keeps folks coming back
But I put the kibosh on that stuff

Took my lady to lunch for her 71st (of which is tomorrow)
Best southern BBQ house in town
Had the BBQ beef brisket
It was fork tender
savory

The coleslaw......well, my lady could show 'em what good coleslaw is

Shared a generous slice of cheesecake
and coffee

Overall.....Happy

Tomorrow
The big gift
I'm fixing her stove
Gotta replace an element and receptacle

As for now

Sleeping off the brisket

Gary‘O, did the new neighbours on the old house catty corner from you replace the roof and have they started fixing it up. One of your older photos showed it with a thousands of birds on the roof.

Yeah
A handy guy bought it and the adjacent lot/house
He's been pecking away at it, but (as yet) that stucco is screaming 'fix me!'
New roof/windows/doors
Had to off the baby doves in the attic
'Poop everywhere!'

Says once done, he's gonna rent them out....promised good neighbors
We'll see

The doves still hang on the rooftop
