I have never seen a deer in a barbershop.....

Specifically, I think they are Dutch Iris ( as opposed to Bearded Iris).
if you dig one up and it has a bulb rather than a rhizome it is a Dutch Iris.
if you want them to continue growing and blooming in your yard every year then let the foliage alone to brown and die back naturally. Do cut the spent bloom off though.
if you want to get rid of them keep cutting the foliage off at the ground and eventually they’ll quit producing.
