This game can be confusing. But if you reread the original post, you are supposed to take the outside letters of the previous post and use them as inside letters of a new word.
So Sparky's word INDEMNITY had the outside letters I and Y. I followed that with TINYSIZED, with I and Y as inside letters. The new outside letters became T D. They were supposed to be your inside letters of a new word. (One word, not two.)
