Better than nothing. I heard he'll get at least 10 years in prison. Lock away those scumbags who think they're above the law, and engage in sex trafficking.
They did kill his career and reputation although he'll eventually try a comeback tour once he gets out. His ego is too big, he needs the attention.

IMO everyone involved is guilty of poor judgement and bad behavior but I didn’t see much that rose to the level of a crime ring or serious threat other than the video of the assault in a hotel corridor.

I’m sure the inevitable movie will be a blockbuster.

Beyoncé? Her videos should be given a lower than low gross sexual R rating. So I guess she's one Diddy would be very disappointed by if she doesn't visit him. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.........

After a marathon two months and mountains of evidence, Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been convicted of the two least serious charges he faced - and cleared of the most grim.
The rapper, 55, faces up to 20 years in prison after being found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution for his treatment of ex-girlfriends Cassie Ventura and 'Jane', a woman so traumatized she used a pseudonym throughout.
He was found not guilty of racketeering conspiracy - the top charge - and sex trafficking, the most crucial.

He turned to his family and mouthed 'I'm going home' when the verdict was read.

I hope he's absolutely wrong....^^^^^

Didn't one of his assistants get immunity testifying yet he was providing illegal drugs for his 'parties. Maybe federal drug charges might have fared better than the trafficking.

I haven't followed any of this. I saw headlines about some guy going to court, and just brushed it off as one more of these. But having admitted that, is hiring a bunch of prostitutes for a party, if that's what he did, considered sex trafficking? Why is that different than just hiring a bunch of prostitutes? Just a technical question.

Yep and the poor guy that have to use a Public Defender gets to pay the man as we say in the police business.
Public Defenders: you're not going to get Perry Mason. PD's are typically understaffed and over burdened with hundreds of cases. I have heard it said(rightly or wrongly) that Public Defenders are there to encourage plea bargains, in order to save the county money.

In PA, if a Public Defender wants to use an expert witness, the PD must petition the court. This allows the judge to determine if the expert witness’s credentials will meet the standards necessary to act as an expert witness. The county foots the bill for the expert witness.

I agree. There were "unnamed witnesses" and "anonymous sources" that seemed to accepted by bloggers, as proof of his guilt. But exactly how do you put an "anonymous source" on the witness stand?
I doubt if Combs is up for choir master of the year, but any guy with half a $ billion in his checking account can afford hordes lawyers to get him out early.
