What Harry was supposed to have said and what he actually said are two different things.

I love the taxi driver and how he says nothing really happened. That must be because he is a normal rational person, saying it like it was.
 
A fantasy, fiction, the news about it here ran out
of stamina after the first clamour.

The taxi driver said, yes we were followed, by one
car, but not for 2 hours and not at speed!

The police said that they had heard about it first
from the TV News, they were never called, no 911
call was made.

They should have just gone to the UES address they were staying at and the nonsense would have ended. Two hours on NYC streets. A drama of their own making. Our mayor is too polite to tell them to F off. Ridiculous, and I feel my city was being used.
 
Did we actually hear H&M say in their own words what was reported that they said?
Not defending them but I don't trust the press either.
I guess I'll look it up to see. Unless I missed a link of their own words.
All I see is "spokesman said". Who's spokesman?
 
What idiot in the "security detail " would let their 3 valuable persons, get in a New York City taxi ALONE ??? That stinks to high heaven. Professional body guards NEVER loose sight of the people they are protecting, ever. This is simply unbeliveable, on a number of levels. A poor attempt at creating a fake " situation ". Fools. JImB.

You have hit the nail on the head Jim, it wasn't paparazzi that was
chasing them, it was their own security, trying to catch up with them.

They were in the cab because their security SUV driver was pulled over by the cops for blocking the street.
 
They claim they were trying to hide the identity of who they (h&m) were staying with, so they led the chase. Some paparazzi were on electric bikes, going at the same speed. Those things are a menace! They go on sidewalks all the time.

I think media reporting on both sides of the debate is based on trying to 'sell a story'. Sometimes leaving thing out might be considered by some as selling the story better. And not necessarily better in in more accurate. Then introduce hearsay an some might thing they have the perfect story to sell to the public.
 
I saw the heading but did not read the story. There are 2 reasons why:

1. Stories about celebrities do not interest me as most are seeking attention.
2. This Harry "guy" has been chasing the media ever since he left all those palaces back in the Uk. Now, the media is chasing him. There is a saying, "What goes around, comes around." Perhaps it's "just desert."

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Harry was "tickled pink" with all the attention given him. It's just "what the doctor ordered" as far as he is concerned.
