Coming in late, but glad to hear you are improving and getting back to health. Am still feeling betrayed and resentful over the ''less than effective'' flu vaccine. Makes me wonder if they were in such a hurry to put it on the market and rake in the $ that they didn't do a thorough enough job of research and development. Thinking I ought to write my elected congresspersons and suggest they investigate what happened. At the store the other day, laid in a nice size supply of what I call my ''sick food'' just in case. Lots of soup, jello, juices, and heathy frozen dinners.

I just consider myself very lucky when I hear what happened to you Geezerette. I find it so upsetting not knowing who to trust, what to go for and what not to. I let the "shingles" thing get to me so I got that one too. I guess we'll see.

I think the thing I read that most discouraged me from ever doing the flu thing again, is that there are always "new" types of flu, and many times, the vaccine is outdated, or doesn't take care of the latest form of flu anyway. I don't know whether that is true or not, again, how do we know what's true. Plus, now that I've been through this "test" thing and the doctor said they would test and eliminate the worst things first, it doesn't make sense to me. I think they should look at the little things first. Anyway, I'm rambling now.

I am so glad to know you are ok. I think it's time for me to start writing again, at least I'd know I did my best to get it to someone that might help, denise
