When I was young life was carefree, protected and conditioned. As a teenager I was a rebel, careless and searching for enlightenment with psychedelics, lost my way, diagnosis borderline schizophrenic. Prompted to work by parents never longer than a couple of weeks, lost SSDI benefits and Medicare. My 2nd psychotic breakdown, no insurance, private hospitalization was out of the question. Ended up at Georgia State Mental Hospital, completely bonkers.
Over time got better, found work, met the future Mrs. Ed and eloped to New York to visit her parents. With $200, a heavy duty green plastic tarp from K Mart we set out across country to visit her brother in Salt Lake City, Utah. First night on the road we stopped at a campground pouring down rain. I bought 4 rubber tipped Indian novelty spears to hold up the heavy duty green plastic tarp from k mart and we made love in the rain.
Living is what I do.
