Perfection on a plate

Wild Caught Alaskan King Salmon lightly sprinkled with Sea Salt baked for 15 minutes at 400 degrees, fresh Steamed Spinach (unsalted), and fresh squeezed lemon on both. And a side of roasted potatoes, carrots, and onions with ground pepper, sea salt, and olive oil.

If I was living in a dreamworld I'd switch out the roasted veggies with decadent fresh hot cheesy creamy scalloped potatoes.

I'm fickle so the answer changes quickly with the seasons.

Today I'm off to the farmers market for a box of locally grown strawberries.

By the 4th of July, I'll be ready for a big juicy hamburger hot off the grill, potato salad and a slice of watermelon!

Later in the summer, it will be tomatoes for a BLT.

So much food and so little time left to eat it.

I'll probably die with a fork in my hand, LOL!!!

I love salmon and eat it to the point where I can't even look at it for awhile. I think Ive reached that point again. :)

I was having it almost every meal.

I really can't think of one food ...I like too many.

This may sound repulsive and certainly looks horrible on the plate but I love a nice piece of mild fish such as cod, broiled or even cooked in the microwave, stewed tomatoes, white rice all all mixed together with some tarter sauce. Mushy enough that you need a spoon to eat it with. Finish the meal with a huge slice of really ripe watermelon.

Aunt Bea,love the last line of your post, made me laugh Sue

My own home-cooked, sauteed, marinated tofu cubes, with fresh asparagus, kale, carrot slices, sliced mushrooms, Kalamata olives, garlic cashew cream, with fresh turmeric, ground rosemary and oregano on a bed of cilantro Basmati rice, all with a fresh parsley garnish. (Yes, this sounds, decidedly, foreign, to many of you, I'm sure. The pictures of the seared, dead animal flesh literally made me nauseated, although I viewed them for a fraction of a second. Different strokes - - - - )

I would eat that except not sure about the tofu but if I didn't know what is was and it tasted good, I'd eat that too.

Only complaint would be the rice, not a fan.
