We could wait two more years, I guess. I would rather take my chances with a vaccine than live in this Covid underworld for another two years.

So those getting the vaccine will be doing so without knowing it's long term effects.

It's a pandemic that has killed a million people already. I would deal with the pandemic first, then worry about long-term effects which may or may not exist.

When your house is burning, you put the fire out, then worry about water damage later.

That's why we have an FDA that subjects drug companies to rigorous trials for safety and efficacy, and regulates what they can say about the results of clinical trials.

Yes, and the "F" in FDA stands for Fraud.
"The fact that the FDA relies upon drug company money is absolutely insane. This has to be a completely separate agency where the people are not tied in any way, shape or form to the products they're reviewing."
 
I did not think I would get it sooner than later, but at 74 and all my medical conditions, and wanting to go see my daughter in Texas I think I will. Really tired of being at home.

They are telling us to keep wearing our masks. It just makes sense. Why stop wearing it just because there "may" be a vaccine on the horizon? The vaccine hasn't gotten into our bodies yet!
