Photos from my Walks in the Park

Marian, I live right next too huge woodland and lakes... as well as farmland, and they are beautiful .. but your park is stunning...
This is the park right next to my home.
I know this place! We used to launch at Joppatowne and cruise down past Hart Island. My family had a shore place at Middle River too, but that was before my time. I left the area 45 years ago. Nice video.

It's interesting that they inserted shots of an abandoned warehouse in the middle of the video — perhaps for those interested in doing a bit of heroin during their outing at the park.

That’s not a warehouse. It is an old, abandoned power station. In the 1920s , 1930s, the park was a big amusement park with rides. The old power station remains. It‘s kind of spooky inside and full of graffiti, some of it very interesting. I’ve taken photos of much of it. If I can find them, maybe I’ll post some.
While I was walking yesterday, I walked past the old power plant and ran into a very strange guy who invited me inside. He was playing Native American flute music inside of the old building and it was very creepy! I got out of there fast!
