I’ve never seen anyone doing drugs in the park. There is a charge to get into the park and the rangers are very active there. Senior citizens can purchase a Golden Age pass from the Department of Recreation and Parks for $10 that’s good for the rest of your life for every state park in Maryland.
It always amazes me how few people in this area use the park. Many times that I’m there I don’t see another soul. I love that!

Wow! Fun pics again! Is that a Pygmy Owl? I think there are only a few kinds that are diurnal. I've never seen one!
What a beautiful (and rare!) sight to see! Pretty to look at (if it's Pygmy), but they attack songbirds, so not my favorite creature.

Last year I kept seeing this pair of geese. They were always together, obviously a couple. I had never seen a snow goose in the park. I usually only see Canada geese….. but they fell in love I call them Harry and Megan
