Some of these brought back such wonderful memories. Living in Philadelphia most of my life here are 2 things out of many that I remember The Liberty Bell and the Mummers parade.

@hollydolly Thanks so much for posting that, it was really nice to watch. I just love the ladies fashsion back then. It is so much better than what we have today. No, I won't trade in my jeans or sweat pants but on the occasion I get to wear a pretty dress, I would prefer those!

The ladies dresses make today girls look totally naked!!!!!
That can be true. I just like the style back then, full skirts, longer length, it is much more flattering.

yes I remember my mother having those dresses in her wardrobe... they were clearly from her teen days, and she never wore them, but I like to look at them ...
