well our county fairs have all been cancelled for the last 2 years, but hopefully there will be all up and running again next spring...

No, they've started again, Yorkshire show last week I believe, (royalty attending), and for three days starting on Friday the Royal Lancashire Show is on just north of Preston, and I hope to go.
If I get the chance I'll take some photos of prize winners and their owners, including a mate of mine showing his longhorn cattle!

Ours will be Tue, Aug 10, 2021 – Sun, Aug 15, 2021 that is if the Covid cases don't get worse.
At any rate, I love the contests and the kids and parents and lots of folk love them too.

Froome Agricultural and Cheese show in Somerset, UK was held today, and very well supported.
