Pinot, Malbec, Zinfandel, or Cabernet?

Pinot, Cabernet, and Sauvignon Blanc. But it seems I don't drink wine unless I'm visiting Cambria CA near Paso Robles wine country anymore. No reason really...just a social drinker I guess.

While living in South Australia, I was introduced to Shiraz. I'm not a connoisseur, and not much of a drinker. Hate beer. I did like the different wines I tried at the Barossa Valley vineyards, though can't remember what they were called.

My daughter knows a lot about wines, and has introduced us to some nice ones. We only imbibe on special occasions, though my O/H keeps a bottle of good Scotch Whiskey around.

I grow my own concord grapes and drink my own homemade wine, about 17% alcohol, sweet and a 6 ounce glass will put you to sleep at bed time and I drink it warm, some times chilled, sometimes sip it, sometimes chug it. Because I am a wineO, I label it WhineYes. My daughter is a classy gal (thinks she is) they have a wine cabinet (lol) One Thanksgiving I brought a bottle of White Owl (Merlot) $2.89 lol

The best wine I ever drank....and still do occasionally, is Mogan David Concord. That sweet full bodied grape taste is my favorite....but wine aficionados probably wouldn't agree.
Don, We call that Mad Dog up here, when my supply of homemade runs low I drink Mad Dog.. I stopped at a wine store and couldn't find any and the lady clerk ask me if she could help. I said I'm looking for some mad dog and she said ''we don't carry that because we don't like the kind of clientele it draws.'' I was at a loss for words and finally said, no shit and left.

Beautiful day, low 70s, just got back from my 2.5 mile walk, and I'm in that ^ exact spot as I type. But no dirty martini today. Instead, I'm destroying a bottle of one of my favs: J. Roget Spumante sparkling wine.

It is cheap, sweet, and goes down like pop!

Any good red wine. I especially like Coppola's claret. And a local winery makes a delicious strawberry wine, which is like drinking dessert.

Not a big fan of white wine, but I do like Riesling.

Unfortunately, I've had to cut down on the wine, to about a half glass every few weeks, as any more than that has a bad interaction with the beta
blocker I'm taking for blood pressure. Not a problem for many people, but it was for me.

We used to enjoy Blackberry Merlot. Then the doctor told us he would spank us if we didn't cut out all alcohol.

Chardonnay every time. Nice chilled glass and heaven forbid even ice...what can I say, we like to "kick back with cold ones". Hub loves White Merlot, which you don't find too often.

I’m not a wine drinker, unfortunately wine gives me a huge headache 🤕 though strangely enough I can drink champagne and enjoy a mimosa now and then.
