Plane Crashes Into Mobile Home Park

A plane crashed into a mobile home park in Clearwater, Florida. Several people are reported dead from the plane and the home the plane crashed into.

The plane was a Beechcraft Bonanza V35. No cause yet.

Our home is located approximately 2 miles from the crash site. We are located directly across the street from the beach.

It was reported that the plane went down at a 45 degree angle. I don’t want to speculate, but generally when these small planes go down at an angle and not nose down, it’s due to engine failure. If this plane was a single engine, engine failure would be a possibility. The reason being when the engine fails, the pilot will usually try to glide the plane to the ground.

But, a small plane pilot would know more about this than I would.

How terrible!! The article states the pilot reported engine failure before the crash. Those poor people! My heart goes out to the families of the victims and to those who lost their homes in this tragedy. May the people who lost their lives R.I.P.

GMA reported that these mobile homes were occupied by 55+ residents.

This is so horrible. I can't even imagine such a thing. Now their friends and loved ones must go through the grief and sorrow.
