Possible al-Qaida threat prompts US State Dept. To issue worldwide travel alert

The United States has issued a worldwide travel alert to all Americans during the month of August.

Terrorists may focus their efforts to conduct attacks in the period between now and the end of August.

The U.S. Said that all American embassies and consulates that normally open on a Sunday would close on Aug. 4 because of a possible al Qaeda-related threat.

The embassies and consulates due to close Sunday include: Algiers, Algeria, Sana'a, Yemen; Tel Aviv, Israel; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Dhaka, Bangladesh; Kuwait City, Kuwait; Ankara, Turkey;
Muscat, Oman; Doha, Qatar; Cairo, Egypt; Kabul, Afghanistan; Baghdad, Iraq; Amman, Jordan; Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Manama, Bahrain; Tripoli, Libya; Nouakchott, Mauritania; and Doha, Qatar.


Be extra careful and observant if you have to travel to any of these places during this time period.

A very interesting read. I hope it is not true but historic experience would suggest that there is likely to be some truth in it. I did pick up the point made with the Churchill quote:

“The farther back you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see.”

I really think that there is more going on than what is being explained to us, and even that is precious little.
Somehow, I think this ties in with the deaths of Hastings, and the computer genius who was suicided, and the information that Snowden would have released to them.
Some of the news sites are saying that Russia is getting troops ready for war; plus there was the high conference meeting with Obama, Bill Clinton, and Bush in Africa a few weeks back .
So it seems that something is coming, just hard to say what.
I read that two of our fighter jets were downed near the White House, but they are not saying much about that either, but apparently right afterwards is when the order was given for the embassies to be shut down.

I believe it was a mid-air collision between two F-16s, one of which splashed and the other returned to base. It happened over Chincoteague which is a good 70 miles or so from D.C.
