These younger professionals just don't like the idea of Grandma and Grandpa sitting around getting high.

Merle Haggard did enjoy his pot smoking / coke sniffing days, but despite quitting tobacco(1991) and smoking pot(1995) he did end up with Lung cancer(2008). Merle passed in 2016...RIP Hag.

In spite of the fact that "Okie From Muskogie" does not reflect my personal values, I still like the song.

I just prefer the Beach Boys cover of it. I suspect the majority of the audiance in this video was high.
