It sounds bad. There was a tornado in Garner NC but nothing like that.

I called my 1/2 sister the next day. She's in Old Hickory and said @ times it was very scary but she and hubby are fine, no structual damage to their home.

An F-3 is what 150 mph ! That's windy.

Hey, thank you guys for thinking of me. I’m sorry I’ve been out of touch..you all know why.

We’re fine. Major damage a couple miles away but no damage to us, we just lost power for several hours. No damage to our various kids’ homes either. Traffic lights are still out all around us, some shopping areas shut down from no power, streets closed. Schools closed. A lot of devastation.

Life is already too much to handle as it is, so I’m very grateful we were spared.

I'm glad to read that Ronni and her family weren't hit. It's always so heart wrenching to see the devastation that a tornado leaves behind. People worked their entire lives to pay for their homes, maybe worked in the area and in an instant, they lose everything. It's even worse when lives are lost too. I saw that two children were among the dead. So very sad. I've been including those affected in my prayers. May those who lost their lives R.I.P. and may their families be comforted.
