I don't get profile posts. How do those work?

People ask questions. How do you respond?

There should be 3 little dots next to it like this ... Click on those and it will take you to the profile post so you can interact. Or you can click on their username and go straight to their profile page and interact there.

I think you should have posted this question in the Forum Support section. To answer you can answer their questions but it won't be private--the whole forum will see it.

Forgive me but I still don't get it with profile posts. Why not post in the regular forums instead? What's the difference to the ones that use the profile posts ?

Camper some sites call it a shout box. It's basically the same as updating a status on Facebook. If you want to post something for the whole group to see without starting an entire thread for it. Like if you wanted to say goodnight to everyone or something.

You don't have to no. But as was previously stated everyone can see it on the side of the page.

You can if you want to. How involved you get is completely up to you. I don’t involve myself with profile posts but sometimes respond to what others have written.
