No matter where you live, i guess, you have to be careful. If house is fully screened there should be no problems.

We are quite pleased that we did not see a single snake when we visited Queensland back in 1989. We greatly enjoyed the trip.

On the other hand, with a resident carpet snake in the ceiling you never have to worry about possums or rats.
