We don't have an air fryer or a toaster oven but they aren't that expensive. How many of you guys have one? My oven takes forever to heat up and there are only 2 of us so I'm not cooking turkey or prime rib very often. It also heats up the house quite a bit (think summer heat in Texas). Are these combo things any good at general baking/roasting? I really don't know much about them, especially as a "fryer". We would use it for whole chicken, enchaladas, salmon filets, chicken breasts, lasagna - stuff like that... for two people.
I'm thinking that during the summer I can take the thing outside and do my stuff there without heating up the house. I'm also hoping that it would lower the electric bill compared to the oven.
Thoughts? Opinions? Warnings?
