God is a manifestation of the mind, not deity or the creator pictured in the Bible. Spirit is something else, an unexplainable connectedness to life in general. Spirit is the bridge that all living objects have a designated role of importance that makes this world what it is.
The term god is used as an explanation to mysteries we don't have an answer for, (how did we get here, why do things happen, (god's will) or why was I born? etc..We assume god knows. because we don't have an answer to these questions. It is the individual who decides the course of his/her life.
Is there a spiritual realm among us that most people are unaware of? I don't know. What about the supernatural? Is that a product of an overly active imagination and media influence? I don't know, however, I have yet to see any real magic beyond that of simply slight of hand.
Do monsters exist? I believe they do in the minds of men and women who possess a disregard to life, these are the real monsters. Perhaps big foot and the Loch Ness monster are a fluke of nature, but as real as you and me? Who knows?
Humans are gullible beings that under the right circumstances will believe almost anything that cannot be proven. the Bible is proof of that followed by intensive immersion into faith prompted beliefs, conditioning and reinforcement of beliefs through literature, song and verbal teachings. No wonder people are hard set in their beliefs based on the many ways of worship. Not to mention the fear of being left out or lost. Propaganda at its finest.
