There are many things in life that perplex me but there never seems to be anyone nearby to explain them to me. For example:

The sidewinder snake moves forward at an angle but can they move with either side leading or do they all lead with their left/right side forward?

I think he travels in an almost twisting method as he lives in the desert traveling in a straight line is difficult in sand.

Alligators (or Crocodiles?) have their sex determined by the temperature of the water when their eggs are released I believe, that's a bit mind blowing I think ).
