Quick, Go Look How Many Emails You Have

I just came from an inbox of 292 emails, most unread and most legitimate, not spam.

My problem, I am a procrastinator and only get around to it every so often.

So every so often I skim the list and then just hit delete all after moving a few to Archives to be read another day, and that is now growing in numbers

Am I alone in this?

Mine date back to Feb, 2012, but I've read them all. I've never been able to figure out how to count them (Yahoo mail), but surely must be over 1000.

I'm very anal about my inbox. Most of my stuff is labeled so only see the important ones and read them as they come in on my phone. The rest of the emails I just trash.

I have several email accounts and I check them everyday. Usually only get mail in the 3 main accounts. I delete emails regularly; otherwise they build up and it's too overwhelming. I rarely get spam.

Do you have a spam folder? I'd be drowning in emails if it were not for that. Probably 90% of my emails wind up there, and I mostly don't even bother going to look at it.

I get e-mails almost every day. I read them and then delete them.

WHY save them? I see that some of you seem to collect them. Again; WHY ??

I don't collect them....I just don't seem to have the time to keep on top of things and mail from Kraft and other ladies mags just seems to have taken on a life of it's own.

It really would be considered rude to unsuscribe ;)

I get about a max of 10 emails a day & maybe a couple from my "prince in Nigeria" .....:p ....... LOL

All my emails are from stores I bought from in the past . If I get tired of them ,I just unsubscribe.

You don't have to count; just hover your mouse over the word Inbox and it'll show how many emails you have.
Thanks, AC. The count is 1036. ;)

Mainly, I'd rather not spend time thinking about what might be important to me later (e.g., dates that things happened). I delete everything that's obviously never going to be important. Emails I have to spend more than a second thinking about, I just leave. It's easier to decide what is, or isn't, going to be important after a lot of time has passed, than right away. I'd rather keep something I don't need, than delete something I wish I hadn't. When someone informs me that my mailbox is full, I'll delete some. Never happened yet.

And it also doesn't bother me that other people clean theirs out regularly. :)

I have a Yahoo mail account and mine shows the number of e-mails next to the word "Inbox."

I have 3 opened emails in my inbox, but I do have folders that I save certain emails in from friends, family or important messages. I don't get a lot of spam, and I delete ones I don't need to keep. If I buy something from a company and they start sending me regular ads, I always unsubscribe pretty quickly, don't like a cluttered inbox.

I use 'Thunderbird' (always FREE) with my Linux OS, it also can be used with MAC or Windows (most versions). I have 3 email accounts, Thunderbird is always up on one of my 4 workspaces, I get alerts whenever an email comes in, I don't like clutter being OCD.
