I've always been a fan of Spock from the early Star Trek movies.

Here is a selection that I really like...

“Loss of life is to be mourned, but only if the life was wasted.”

“Insufficient facts always invite danger.”

“Evil does seem to maintain power by suppressing the truth.”

“Pain is a thing of the mind. The mind can be controlled.”

“One man cannot summon the future. But one man can change the present!”

“It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want.”

“You Earth people have glorified violence for forty centuries. But you imprison those who employ it privately.”

“Logic is the beginning of wisdom—not the end.”

Here's a Spock quote from the series:

"This troubled planet is a place of the most violent contrasts. Those that receive the rewards are totally separated from those who shoulder the burdens. It is not a wise leadership."
~~“The Cloud Minders” episode of Star Trek TV series, 2/28/1969, written by Margaret Armen

From my favorite SF movie Contact, "You're an interesting species."

Battlestar Galactica Reboot

“To live meaningful lives, we must die and not return. The one human flaw that you spend your lifetimes distressing over, mortality, is the one thing that makes you whole.” – Number Six

“It’s naive to think horrible things we can’t understand have simple explanations because simple explanations make us feel like we have control.” – President Laura Roslin

“I'm a doctor, not an escalator!”

“I'm a doctor, not a bricklayer.”

“I'm a doctor, not an engineer.”

“I'm a doctor, not a mechanic.”

“I'm a doctor, not a coal miner.”

“I'm a surgeon, not a psychiatrist.”

“I'm not a magician, Spock, just an old country doctor.”

“I'm a doctor, not a torpedo technician!”

“I'm a doctor, not a physicist!”

“I don't need a doctor, damn it, I am a doctor!”

** Yeah... you know who.

Capt. Kirk: Mister Scott. Where - are - the tribbles?
Scott: I used the transporter, Captain.
Capt. Kirk: You used the transporter?
Scott: Aye.
Capt. Kirk: Well, where did you transport them?
[the others are looking away, trying to appear not involved]
Capt. Kirk: Scott, you didn't transport them into space, did you?
Scott: Captain Kirk! That'd be inhuman!
Capt. Kirk: Well, where are they?
Scott: I gave them a very good home, sir.
Capt. Kirk: WHERE?
Scott: I gave 'em to the Klingons, sir.
Capt. Kirk: [whispering] You gave them to the Klingons?
Scott: Aye, sir. Before they went into warp, I transported the whole kit 'n' caboodle into their engine room, where they'll be no tribble at all.

This makes me want to watch this again.
I recently bought a DVD from the trade table of my church. It was a triple feature -

The Island with Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson
Logan's run - features Audio Commentary by Michael York.
Features Jenny Agutter, Farar Fawcett Majors and Peter Ustinov.
Forbidden Planet with Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis and Leslie Nielson

It is still worth watching
