Sad news, my hubby just told me that from the other room, and sure enough it was posted here. I liked that show and watched it all the time, everyone I know liked Elly May. Rest peacefully Donna, thanks for the good memories.

Ellie Mae was the source of Jethro coining "over the shoulder boulder holder" as the descriptive term for her bra. Back then, we were not supposed to repeat that. It was entirely too much like "gutter talk". Sorta a shame it's still not. Today, folks cannot utter a sentence without lacing in a few swear words.
