Random memories from yesteryear - Got any?

I took an Alka Seltzer the other day and it brought back a memory of these:

Wow, I forgot about that one. It's amazing the sugar products that were sold in stores back then and advertised as something good fur you.

Sitting at the rear window of Grandparents station wagon on a trip from L.A. to Oklahoma
and making faces at the truck driver behind us and him making them back at me. He had me
hysterically laughing through that boring ride arriving into OK. from Texas in those days.

The family going for Sunday rides in the country. Taking strange dirt roads just to see where they ended up. Usually took some sandwiches and something to drink and have a picnic.

I ate at the Hamburger Choo Choo. Loved having my burger delivered by train.

When I stayed with my grandmother and had been "good" we would walk to Ashburn's for an ice cream cone. One scoop was a nickel and two were a dime.

Staying at my buddies grandmas house where she had a player piano. Put in a roll and we would pump that pedal til we were pooped. My favorite was, “Shes a grand old flag.”
