See that oak table above..I wish I could have afforded something like that when I was young... I would still have it to this day.. Now it's too late to buy something that's going to last 100 years...
I, too, was quite taken with that table. I would use a different style of chairs with it. :)

Makes for a wonderful day trip, and since plants are the only thing I buy recreationally, it is fun to be tempted. Around here more and more offer coffee or something on the side still more opportunity for retail therapy. I like to stop in an different times of the year to see what plants look good in various seasons.

yes here wer're very frtunate that we have not only many Garden centres... but we alos have a lot of Plant nurseries... which sell just plants and not homeware as well...all within less than than a 30 minute drive... the one above is the one closest to me just 10 minutes away ..and yes I visit them all year round too

This last visit a few days ago was to price up some more Red Robin Forsythia shrubs... I already grew 3 pots in the borders about 10 years ago.. and they are a succesful 7 foot hedge...

but I was thinking now that in the rest of the border... instead of having the pot plants and having to weed all the border etc which is getting hard on my back..I might just fill the whole rest in with more Red Robin Forsythia..

However they were very expensive at the garden centre, so I'll go to the nurseries probably some time this week and see if they have them cheaper..

Pre sunup sky-scape taken from in the spa recently. Less flashy than sunsets but I love dawn.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that if there were significantly more contrast within the clouds, and maybe converted to sepia, it would look like a large glass of draught Guinness settling?

Why on earth did I say 'Large Glass'? Where is Freud when you need him?

Ruby Jeep took me and the boy dog to the park this afternoon ... and only charged us for gas !!!
Ruby is 22 and just enjoys stretching her legs now and then.
It was overcast and drizzly rain but we didn't care ... I asked everybody. Nobody cared.
We had the park virtually all to ourselves and laughed and laughed like no one was looking.
Back home, took a picture of my Buck Canoe pocket knife.

Stag Saturday ... Stag ... and a thought crossed my mind for a moment.
Things are not always what they seem.
The deer isn't crossing the road. The road is crossing the forest.

... Not sure what "things" I'm talking about here, so there's that I guess.
And besides, I have personally seen a deer cross a road, so never mind.
Maybe MAYBE the thing is, this Schrade / Wostenholm Stag Canoe makes me think too much. Dunno
