@CinnamonSugar, it looks like a deciduous azalea. They're the only azaleas that have orange or yellow blossoms. It's lovely!

Stamford is an Anglo Saxon town dating from the 10 century AD.. and almost every building in the town is made from Limestone. It's population is less than 20,000... and is a very popular town for television and film location.

To maintain it's history .. there are no large department stores in the town centre.. instead all traditional or independent stores in keeping with it's history.

yesterday was a very dull and cold day so I didn't get many pictures, but here's a few of the town centre stores..
