It's my South Wales back garden where some things have just grown from wild...and I otherwise have plants that just come every year....I'm not a fan of gardening. But it's bee friendly.Sadly no bees nest this year.

Today, I popped into a small town Museum which I'd never visited before. It was pretty low in light to preserve their local exhibits but it was a very nice little place housing a few local historical artefacts ..bit eclectic, but still interesting

One exhibit was some kitchen appliances from around the 1940's../50's... quite taken aback to realize that is over 80 years ago..I remember some of these things in our home growing up..

1940s Gas cooker and oven

some of these items don't belong together due to being from different Eras..

The electric stainless steel kettle was the same as the one we had when I was growing up in the 60's...the small iron at the front too... but does anyone know what Era the big green Iron is from ?

I couldn't read the labels because it was quite dark and I didn't have my reading specs with me

I was able to answer my own question by enlarging this picture of a 1953 wireless..and underneath it states the date of the Big green Gas iron.... 1930... but used up until 1960......we certainly never had one of those when I was growing up..
