Enjoying coffee this morning and looked up to see this thing outside my kitchen window.
I posted this picture on 'my' firearms forum ... the membership there is vast and holds much impressive broad knowledge.
Come to find out, it is a Giant Leaf-Footed Bug (Acanthocephala Declivis) ... but you knew that

High today is expected to be 90 with a slight chance of rain.
Next good rain and there will be an insect explosion here on the corner of Walk 'n Don't Walk.

Yep, they're antlers. I order them from a guy in Michigan who sells antler chews for dogs
And yes, those are also antlers on the knife but from a much different source
The knife was made in Sheffield England

Today I was doing some pruning out back in the sanctuary before it got dark
This CASE knife shown half open, is made right here in the U.S.A.
