40 the first try, 29 the second. Satisfying result, but in this case one is expecting the need to react while in the real world that need suddenly jumps out.
Fortunately on the open road I'm pretty good at spotting the unexpected...deer, cars that pass on both sides, pedestrians crossing in head to foot black in the dark...but first time was a very old person and second was a 60 year old. I'll be 54 this year <<<gulp>>>
38, but I gave my car away to my son last week. My reaction time on the actual road was still quite good, but with vision, hearing, and walking difficulties, not to mention the uncertainties of being 83, I was happy to give it up.
My reaction time was 37 on this test..but I know my reaction time isn't that good. I have always been a good driver but I'm no way as sharp as I was at 37 lol.
