Received a phone call from my Medical Centre.

Your appointment is on my granddaughter's birthday. :) Will be sending out positive vibes for a good outcome B.
Re: bolded quote. I've had to deal with a few customer service reps with heavy accents. It can be quite annoying.
I was becoming rather annoyed. Trying to understand her was a real task, with a few pauses because I had not idea what she said or asked. :(

@Bretrick this is the very reason I have a low-dose CT scan every year. I smoked for years. Oddly, my doctor doesn't contact me afterward. The place that does the CT scan sends me an email. The last one just indicated that everything was normal.

Please keep us posted on your further tests and overall health prognosis.

As a follow-up to my lung scan the doctor recommended a CT Coronary Angiogram.
Today is 13th January. Scan day.
Sitting in the waiting room. Been told to allow 4 hours for total appointment time.
Wow! That sounds like a long time. I've never had one but have had regular CT scans and they are usually around an hour with waiting time included. Let us know what happens!

@Kaila
For a Coronary Angiogram my heart needs to be slowed down to about 62 beats per minute.
I have been given pills for that and I will be monitored for 30 minutes to monitor my reaction.

I'm glad you aren't having trouble B. My son has been coughing for over a week and will not go to the doctor. He's been using home remedies. He hasn't coughed as much the last couple of days and said some of the coughing was on purpose to bring up the phlem. I wish he'd get checked out like you did. Take good care.
Update: On the day that as I was thinking I'll tell him today that I think he needs to see a doctor, he surprised me and went after work (on Monday). The doctor said his lungs sound clear and prescribed medications for post nasal drip. I can tell already that the meds (one a nasal spray) are working. Good thing...he's getting married in a week.

I'm glad your son listened to you!
Your post #10 struck a chord with as I was coughing badly at that time so I booked a doctor's appointment for today.
Meanwhile in the wee hours of Tuesday morning I asked Wifey to take to the emergency department at 01:30. I came like a pin cushion, some scripts and a pneumonia diagnosis. My GP is taking care of me now.
It's a relief I thought that maybe I was going to have to fast track my end of life plans. I wouldn't wish pneumonia on anyone.
