Those emails between your old mgr and Conifer were fascinating. Him... being a defensive, penny-pinching jerk, and the ex mgr being so funny! (What do you want them to do, jump out of the windows and access from outside) OMG, that cracked me up!

Can't wait to see the story if possible.

the thing is, the worse you look the more likely you are to get supporters. People will be up in arms for the ''old disabled lady''...

When my gran who was probably in her mid 70's at the time and very active , was contacted by the media to do a piece on the lack of heating for old folk, when there was a big national coal strike in our country.. they wrapped her up in an old person's shawl and made sure she had no make-up on.. her photo was on the front of the Sunday papers.. and I didn't even recognise her, they'd made her look so weak , old and helpless.. and it worked.. people were up in arms on her and all the old people's behalf who had no means of heating their homes..

I always found that the best time. When we were young, in an apartment, we had a laundry room right in back of our building. I would set the alarm early for Saturday. I could get in there, fill every machine, have all the laundy done in an hour and a half. I have my own washer and dryer now, that is good but back when I had a houseful of people I would think, how nice would it be to have 6 wahers and dryers available. These days I only do about 3 loads a week.
 
I know a TV star, you looked beautiful, spoke with such confidence and grace. It must feel wonderful to know that you had the courage to give an interview that is leading to changes for everyone in the building. I know I would have not been able to do it. Keep it up, you are a great spokesperson for all!!

I don't do many usually but right now I have 11 pairs of pants and 6 shirts. I washed everything else out by hand the other day.

Thank you but I don't think I looked anywhere near beautiful. I told Sonny I didn't sound like myself. That is not my voice and he said I sound just like that. Hmmmm........

You are not giving your self credit, we often see ourselves differently that what is the truth. Take for instance the blouse you wore, that is probably what you just put on. The color highlights your features and is very becoming. Your hair looks great. I know we are both of the age to color, you have chosen just the right shade, it looks very natural. Go back and watch it again, you will see what I mean. You did not stammer or search for words, you were very confident and in charge.

I will also say, it looks like a very nice building. You picked a great home!! They just need to keep in great shape so it is easy for those with limited mobility to come and go, to do everyday chores. If the time comes I need to leave my home I hope I can find find such a place.
