Reflections of My Life

I totally understand not liking to live in a mess but packing up everything twice more would be absolutely horrible and physically exhausting. I think you are making the right choice.
 

Today, I have to start doing my laundry. It will take more than one day for sure. While I am downstairs, I am going to try to organize the storage locker so I can pack clean laundry in it until the other two spraying are completed. I have been planning to clean that out for a long time now.....like years! This is the time. I really need to take all those bags out of my shower so I can use it today. I NEED to feel clean!

The first thing I need is Rabbit's runner and rugs. He misses those and I need to wash the rugs. The runner I will vacuum this morning along with the rest of the apartment. I had to throw out the empty boxes I had saved to do a total clean of Rabbit's cage. So now I will have to wait to get new ones (from Amazon orders) on that. It needs to be done though.

Oh well, another busy day for kat's Studio! At least I can't complain that I am bored.
 
Surprised myself! Did all of the laundry including the three little rugs. Folded up everything and put in plastic bags and tied up and labeled. I got hot so put on the air conditioning. Put my feet up and just sat back in the recliner and colored. Now doing the bunny cage. Not as bad of day as I thought it would be.

I love how you now have a plan, and are getting a handle on the situation!!! Bravo! By the time this ordeal is over, you'll have it all figured out!!! 😉
 
I am taking my time in organizing my bags of belongings and clothing. But today calls for DRASTIC measures! I need a shower!!!! So right now, as I write this, I am taking the bags and stuff out of the shower and piling it in front of the vanity/sink. I can wash my hands in the kitchen, though there are bags in front of that as well (clean laundry that I will be wearing). I put Jazzy out in the hall and might just stay there for now. If I can find a way to keep the shower usable I will.

So this is my project for this morning. Then I plan to do vacuuming so I can get Rabbit's runner and rugs back where they belong. He does not like it that they are not on the floor for him. I put a old sheet out like I used to do and he is on that but acts like he doesn't really like it. That is all for today. Through out all this I have been keeping my legs up off and on through out the day. That is helping, along with wearing the compression stockings and using the leg massager. I might walk this morning with my friend. I did yesterday and I think it is important to keep on with that.

Today, I plan on vacuuming the bedroom area but will not disturb the bed. The mattress is up on its side and will stay that way until the bug guy comes back. Other than that nothing too strenuous. Maybe a walk to the park and sit in the sun for a bit. I had planned to do that daily as soon as the weather was nice but have not been able to yet.

Last week I did something I never have done......thought my hair appointment was on the 12th because I didn't get an appointment card last time. It was actually on the 5th! My hairdresser called me that day and was worried that something had happened to me or Sonny. So changed my appointment to next Wed. I will remember next time to get that appointment card!

I need to buy some various potting soils for my houseplants. They need transplanting. I would like to replace the pots the African violets are in with self waterers that are made special for them. My aloe plants are overgrown with babies, I have three and can't start more because I have no room. I don't have the heart to throw any of these away because my daddy started them for me. When I die, I suppose they will too.
 
I had a pretty good day........quiet, but good. I walked this morning. Then after breakfast took Jazzy to the Grand Union to get bananas for Rabbit because he got the last piece of the one I had. It was sunny and warm. People were everywhere. I even had a biker stop traffic for me to cross the street!

After that I cleaned the bedroom area, where Rabbit's cage is. I keep plastic runners under his cage and I took them out so I could vacuum under them. Then mopped them before I put the cage back. Cleaned his cage. Whew! Tired myself out. So I put my feet up and watched a movie, It Runs In The Family with Kirk & Michael Douglas. And colored in my coloring book. I am trying to use up all my gel pens before I order any new ones. I am getting down there now.

The bathroom is still piled high with bags but I can live with it till this is over with. Just as long as I can use the shower (I can). I am leaving Jazzy out in my hall, in front of my door till this is done.
