Well...........I made it to 73. Now what?

I think I will attempt to do some laundry today. Depends on the elevator. Yesterday I had to use it a few times and it had some issues. The last time, I got on it to go to the 2nd floor and it went all the way up to the 3rd floor and then down to the bottom! But Randy (maintenance man) was waiting for it on the lower level. So he rode on it with me to my floor. I didn't get on it again after that. I have heard it being used this morning so maybe I will take a chance.
 
Happy birthday kat! Does the maintenance guy know the elevator is having issues? I hope you don't get stuck on that thing. We have issues with ours at work all the time. There's only 4 guys in the state of Kansas who can work on the Otis elevators. We always have a set of 2 and only one works. We have 3 sets we use.

Yes, he knows. I made him ride with me yesterday and he is fully aware of it.
 
Yesterday, my brother called me for my birthday! I was very happy about that. I don't talk to him very often because he is always busy. If I call he is always in a hurry. So I do not call. I asked him what time is good to call him and he couldn't really pin it down. Even though he is 75, he still works every day and has to drive 45 minutes to and from his job. He also does wild west show and said he has 13 shows scheduled this summer. Most of them at the Cooperstown railroad (I don't know the name) which is a train ride for tourist. So he is good and I am glad.

Right now I am making five batches of keto chow because I know I need ice cream in this hot weather. It makes me cold! So it is a good thing. Sometimes I have to turn the air conditioner off for awhile.

Have a list of chores that need to be done. Including making some lemonade. Thought it would be good in this hot weather. As soon as I finish this cup of coffee (my 2nd) I will get to work.

I’m the same with calling family and friends, I always choose a bad time.

I let them make the calls and it’s funny that on those rare occasions when they call me it’s never a bad time, I always enjoy hearing from them. 😉🤭😂
 
I managed to do two loads of laundry. The laundry room was empty the whole time I was there. I only did half of it. I had gotten so far behind on it. Seems like the machines were always out of order or there were too many people down there. Only 4 washers & 5 dryers. There was no way I could go back down after putting away the laundry I did. Maybe tomorrow. :)

I did a few of my jobs for today but thought I better take it easy after I did the laundry.

I wanted to give Rabbit an ice cube to lick and stay cool with. Other bunny owners do that..........nope, my bunny will dump whatever I put it in and not touch it. That is why he has to go into his cage to get a drink of water. The dish is securely fastened to the cage (inside). I guess it makes him get up and move.

Off to fix some burger patties for supper.

Another hot day here in NY. Summer is just too brutal for me, probably after I hit fifty. Before that I used to do all the summer things. I miss walking in the park across the street and going to the library but too hot. It keeps my feet swollen and I need to keep them up. It is not easy to keep them up when sitting at the computer. I keep trying different things or methods. I am the type of person that has to keep getting up so it is not easy to just sit and sit and sit.

Getting ready to take my shower then have to start on a list of chores to do. Picking through Rabbit's spring mix is number one. Getting rid of all the spinach and beet leaves (he hates them) and then put it in the produce keepers. After that I am not saying (just in case I do not do it).

Keeping my apartment cool so far. The air conditioner is on the lowest speed and temp so far.
