Reinventing the Fastest Forgotten Archery

Christine used to be lady's Archery Champion. I was a hunting champion.
We both taught Archery to disabled people. And did many charity shows. Such as Archery darts, hitting the centre of Aces playing cards and such.
 
Interesting Littleowl that you and your wife were so involved with archery, and very kind of you both to teach the disabled and participate in charity shows. That's wonderful! :love_heart:
 

I love the simple bow and arrow as a kid not a bow and arrow by todays standards(picture)
There is a large archery range nearby where only the simple bow,string and arrows are allowed.
 
I love Archery since Papa, gave me my first basic one, made from a flexible tree branch (with bark still attached) and fishing line plus a couple wood carved arrows. That was in 64.

The one he made me out of Oak, sadly, was shipped out with his belongings after he died. I lost my beautiful bamboo fishing rod as well. The signed hockey stick with two popular clubs back in the 60s disappeared as well.

My current bow is a Gull-wing made of PVC tubing painted in an oak finish. Hubby bought it for me from a guy in Wales. I don't like compound bows.

If accepted in the club along with daughter, might upgrade it...

I'm nowhere fast at the moment, I'd say with a huge laugh that I'm between slow and stopped lol!
 
Older brother bought me a Ben Pearson take down recurve when i was a teen, enjoyed it very much.....
