When I was a kid I watched the goofy Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin movies... always cracked me up!

Carol Burnett-Tim Conway and Harvey Korman just made my face and sides ache with laughter!

Mel Brooks & gang absolutely "owned" comedy in the movie category.

I watch the Three Stooges every Saturday evening on MeTV, before I tune in to Svengoolie.

Omg so many. Laugh-in. Don Rickles. Roseann Barr had her time. And all the others already mentioned.

What I remember is none of it (except may be richard pryor) was overly vulgar. No cussing.
Just funny stuff we could all, at times, relate to. Especially with George Carlin.

I'm trying remember this guy, I think his name was Gallagher, and he would get on stage and smash the watermelon
with a sledge hammer. He was kinda popular there for awhile.
