Remember these?............

I remember the Oh Henry, but never remembered getting the candy from a machine back then. I remember Charleston Chews, Bonomo Turkish Taffy, and these. My aunt was the manager at a local movie theater, and she always gave me free popcorn with extra butter (real butter, not the slime they give now).

When I was about 10 years old, we had a Mom and Pop store down on Silver St., you know, the old store with the worn out wood floors that cracked and groaned when you walked on it. It had a bell over the door which rang when you entered. Mom or Pop would come out from the back, where they lived, and wait on you. I would imagine they did this many times a day as they were very popular with the kids and the Rexford St. School was just down the street.anyhow, the reason they were so popular was they had one of these candy stands or one very similar. A candy work of Art to us kids.

Do any of you remember when Three Musketeers was three flavors, strawberry, vanilla and chocolate? The bar was scored in three parts so you could break them into separate pieces.
