Report on my DEXA (bone density) scan

Start eating and drinking more.
Osteopenia means your bones are weakened (which means an increased risk of fractures) and you are on your way to osteoporosis.
Increasing your weight bearing exercises will help tremendously.

Deb,

I’m curious, how much did they charge your insurance to determine that your bone loss is reasonable for your age?

I had a couple tests and decided that they were a waste for me and Medicare.

My best defense against bone loss and broken hips is plenty of padding. 😉🤭😂

Being in the 70+ age group I was offered an appointment on The Bone Bus, which is a mobile studio that visits medical centres.
I too have Osteopenia, I already take Vitamin D and fairly active in terms of exercise. I'll have to lift my game.
I guess we're all aging in our individual manner...

EDIT
@Aunt Bea
This was at no direct cost to me, although I did make a co-payment when I got the results from my GP.

Not Deb, but...
In-network Medicare Advantage: I had a $20 copay, due at time of service.
