Returning to the past is no easy feet, arms, legs, hands or hat. Imagine a magical hat that allowed safe passage through the time zones? Describe where you would you go if you owned such a hat?

Note the hat is a traveling hat that only moves forward and backward through time. Where would you have the hat of time take you?

Firmly grounded in the present, looking forward to the future and remembering the past in the perfect asylum of life.

For the fun of it, the era between the two world wars, often referred to as "Swingtime," is very tempting:

But I never forget that the years between 1929 & 1941 were known as The Great Depression. . The longest and deepest downturn in the history of the United States and the modern industrial economy lasted more than a decade.

Nostalgia can give nice warm fuzzy feelings but it can also be a deadly narcotic. With my luck, if I went into the future,I would end up at a time right after WW3 ended. I'll take my chances with staying in the present.

And what if I took the hat and went back to Europe in the 16th century but had COVID and didn't know it ? Would I spread it to others and be responsible for wiping out the population of Europe? That would mean that many of us would not exist now. Good topic for highschool kids smoking pot for the first time.
