Prior to Covid, mRNA therapeutics were in development for cancer. One of the concerns that had kept the tech from passing safety standards was the promotion of autoimmunity. When Covid vaccines were authorized without traditional safety studies, I researched and read about the concerns in a 2018 peer-reviewed literature review regarding mRNA tech in development for oncology as well as the original studies summarized in the review.

If you're genetically predisposed, mRNA vaccines may trigger autoimmunity. Since I already have autoimmune disorders, my internist advised against the vaccine. I finally got Covid last November and have felt much worse with colds.

It may be that you experienced this trigger and if so, I'm so thankful you got better after three months!
 

I HAVE HAD ALL THE POKES THEY OFFERED. That being said, I didn't get ill. slight arm area discomfort, sort of . Other than that nada. I am in good health and body weight. Maybe that is a good thing. Anyway, have had the latest flu shots, monkey pox etc. Maybe the most important fact is we are not social driven wanna bees. Don't hang out at Social Dives, restaurants full of bad food and no prices on the menu. Haha. Mostly Inflated prices for pore quality foods are a good reason & we tend to ignore it all.

Its obvious that meat inspection is a bought and paid POC in the USA.

Very useful information, thanks. I wondered if I was imagining it but my immune system has definitely been disturbed and is now settling again.

I have autoimmune diseases in my family and this is largely the reason I skipped this particular vaccine. That and the issue of NO PRODUCT LIABILITY which I just could not ignore.

We just don't know because it was not thoroughly tested as previous vaccines had been but rushed through by emergency use authorization. It will take some time for the full truth to be revealed. I think this is why some of us remain trepiditious.
