Nashville is gifted with many waterways and lakes, and restaurants abound on them. We had our favorites where we used to live, and now that the immediate move-in issues have been overcome we’ve been looking for more on this side of town.

Riverview has been the best so far. 20 minutes from the house, on the Cumberland River, lovely scenery and a great vibe. The food is phenomenal and the bartender/mixologist is gifted. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely end to a busy weekend! 🤩❤️IMG_2592.jpegIMG_2593.jpegIMG_2597.jpegIMG_2594.jpegIMG_2595.jpeg

That looks like a good 'Manhattan' ? .. And oh-yeah the food looks great as well.

Wonder if my sister has been there ? I'll ask [if I don't forget] She lives in Nashville [Old Hickory]
@rgp close! It was an Old Fashioned. The only difference between the two is the Old Fashioned is sweetened with simple syrup, the Manhattan with sweet vermouth. Both are delicious!

We have been to Riverview a couple of times and always enjoyed our visits.

Since we live about a 1/4 mile from Blue Moon Waterfront Grille on the Cumberland River, it is our go to Sunday
Brunch spot.
@Feelslikefar i didn’t realize you lived in Nashville!

We’ll have to try Blue Moon next. It’s further away than Riverview, (about 35 minutes from us) but that’s fine. Thanks for the tip!

I took a boat ride on the Cumberland River once with my wife. They served a dinner and had a nice show that followed. It was on the General Jackson. It lasted about 3 hours and was enjoyable and relaxing. The boat was named after the President Andrew Jackson.

Picture of the boat tag and a picture of one of the performers during the show on the boat.

it's so nice to be able to have meals while looking out at the water. I'm happy that you are settling in and liking your new location's amenities. Nice photos.
